Noboru Wagatsuma | 我妻昇
Irodori Kokeshi No. 4 | One of a Kind
Three forms. One figure.
Wagatsuma-san's Irodori No. 4 follows no Kokeshi logic you've seen before – stacking forms on top of one another like layers of memory. The funnel-shaped body, the narrow transition, the tapering head: none could stand alone. Together they form a silhouette you won't forget.
Violet rises into warm lilac into cherry blossom pink. Quietly. Then gold cuts through – chrysanthemums and ume branches, precisely placed, with a confident hand. One eye dark. One eye pink. She's not looking. She's watching.
Mizuki wood, turned entirely by hand. One of a Kind.
- Height: approx. 6 cm + bun hairstyle (total approx. 10 cm)

Irodori No. 4 is no wallflower. She is the reason to start a collection.
