A delicate, richly adorned Kokeshi doll in the Tōgatta style, featuring a distinctive chrysanthemum motif (kiku) on the front. This design is layered multiple times (kasaneru = to stack, to overlay), giving rise to the name Kasanegiku – meaning ‘stacked chrysanthemums’. The back of the doll is decorated with intricately rendered iris flowers, providing a harmonious contrast to the floral pattern on the front.
